This attractive old town is unspoiled by modern development, with narrow streets to explore and grand 17th-century houses. Its town center was one of the first in France to be protected as a historic monument. Pézenas was once the home of Molière and still carries the spirit of creativity in its theaters, antique markets, and art galleries. Each Saturday, the streets come alive with one of the best open-air markets in the region—offering everything from fresh produce and baked goods to handmade crafts and textiles. When evening falls, enjoy dinner at one of the many bistros or wine bars, featuring regional cuisine and local vintages. In summer, the town hosts weekly wine festivals and cultural events that make every night feel like a celebration. Pézenas is also the ideal base for day trips to nearby Mediterranean beaches (just 20 minutes away), wine tours through scenic vineyards, and visits to nearby historical gems such as Agde, Béziers, Sète, Carcassonne, Montpellier, Minerve, Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, and the legendary Canal du Midi.

Wir haben 12 Tage hier verbracht und hatten eine großartige Zeit. Die Wohnung ist nur 2 Gehminuten vom Zentrum von Pezenas mit seinen tollen Geschäften und Restaurants entfernt. Die Wohnung entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung und ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Übernachten. We stayed for 12 days and had such the best time. The apartment is only 2 minute walk from the centre of Pezenas and it’s great shops and restaurants. The apartment lives up to its description and is a great place to stay .

Das Stadtzentrum, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Apartmentkomplex entfernt, bietet Geschäfte und Restaurants sowie einen großartigen Samstagsmarkt mit vielen Ständen. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Warren empfangen, der uns bei allen Anliegen sehr hilfreich zur Seite stand und uns erste Informationen zur Unterkunft gab. Er beantwortete Nachrichten auch immer sehr schnell. Vor unserer Ankunft erhielten wir ein Guidebook, das alle Aspekte des Aufenthalts im Convent abdeckte und auch Informationen zu Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Ausflugszielen und vielem mehr enthielt. Unglaublich praktisch, dies schon vor der Anreise zu haben. Wir waren mit unserem Apartment und der Unterkunft insgesamt sehr zufrieden; und die Nähe zum Stadtzentrum war äußerst praktisch. This property is a perfect holiday spot to use as a base whether staying in the town of Pézanas or taking daily drives to other areas in the vicinity. Though the apartment is in the city, it’s very quiet, with an amazing garden (the platanes are just amazing), swimming pool, and outdoor activities. The rooms are spacious and the upstairs accessed via a lovely wrought iron spiral staircase. Everything you need is supplied: coffee, tea, kitchen utensils, plates, cutlery and more. The centre of town, a short walk from the apartment complex, has shops and restaurants and an amazing Saturday market day with so many stalls. We were met by Warren as we arrived and he was very helpful with any requests and provided initial information regarding the property. He also answered messages very promptly. Prior to our arrival we were sent a Guidebook that covered all aspects of staying at the Convent and also provided info on where to eat, shop, explore and so much more. Incredibly handy to have prior to arrival. We were quite happy with our apartment and the property itself; and the convenience of walking to the town centre.

Sehr gutes Raumklima und wunderschön dekoriert. - Die sehr gute Lage, nah an allem im Dorf. - Den reservierten Parkplatz - Das professionelle und einfach zu bedienende Gästebuch. Es ist großartig, alles an einem Ort zu haben – sowohl alle praktischen Informationen als auch alles, was man erleben kann. Alles in allem sind wir mit unserem Aufenthalt hier sehr zufrieden und würden Ihren schönen Ort gerne weiterempfehlen. Wir würden auch gerne wiederkommen. We loved the stay. The maple trees are amazing. - The indoor atmosphere. Sehr geräumig, sehr komfortabel mit großen Betten. Perfekte Lage in Pézenas und sehr praktisches Parken abseits der Straße. Gepflegter Gemeinschaftsgarten mit Pool und Grill. Wir haben Pézenas geliebt – ich würde es jedem empfehlen. Alles in allem ein großartiger Aufenthalt – das Einzige wäre, dass die Küchenausstattung etwas reduziert war, z. B. Schüsseln und Spülmaschinentabs (aber das ist wirklich nur ein kleiner Punkt und wir haben den Ort geliebt). Super spacious, very comfortable with big beds. Perfect location within Pézenas and very convenient off street parking. Well kept communal garden with pool and bbq. Loved pezenas - would recommend to anyone. All in all a great stay - only thing would be slightly pared back on kitchen amenities e.g. bowls and dishwasher pods (but a super minor point and we loved the place)

Besonders der schöne Innenhof und der Pool haben uns begeistert. Die Unterkunft bietet eine sehr angenehme, gastfreundliche und entspannende Atmosphäre. wij hebben genoten van het verblijf met twee jonge kinderen. de locatie is een enorme troef alsook de prachtige accomodatie. vooral de mooie binnenplaats en zwembad hebben ons weten te bekoren. de accomodatie heeft een heel fijne, gastvrije en ontspannende sfeer.
